WHAT IS ATTENTION-DEFICIT/HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER? Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurological condition related, in part, to the brain's chemistry and anatomy. Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder manifests itself as a persistent pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity/impulsivity. It begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. There is no cure for this disorder at this time, but there are successful treatments options.
WHAT CAN KLINE & ASSOCIATES DO TO HELP?
We are now offering exciting new programs based on a combination of traditional one-on-one therapy and recent advances in Cognitive Skill Building. We can assist your child in applying newly-developed skills in daily life through our Real Life Assimilation training, and, as needed, sessions with our Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. These programs have been shown to be effective as an alternative to, or in conjunction with, medication.
These programs and therapies can help you meet your child's needs with treatment options that have a successful track record and can also be fun and rewarding for your child. We have found that most children want to improve their skills and are highly motivated to complete the programs.
